For nearly 40 years, Ladonna Adrianne Gaines won our hearts with her rich and sultry voice that spearheaded not only the disco movement of the mid-1970s but also modern day dance and pop music. That voice was stilled this morning but her memory lives on. Rest in peace, Donna Summer.
